“You get what you pay for. Bathroom was tiny. Floors dusty, bed gave me a sore back. But fine outside of that.”

“Staying in a refurbished Lighthouse was unique experience. The rooms are essentially pie shaped with an inviting beach theme. The bed was very comfortable and I loved having 6 full sized pillows. Our fridge was stocked every morning with fruit, OJ, complimentary muffins, and yogurt. There were also various beverages and water. There was a keurig in the room as well as at the coffee bar in the Common room. Outside the Common room is a long porch which faced the bay, and was wonderful to relax……

“Breakfast was OK. I don't eat eggs and was looking forward to waffles and maybe bacon some mornings. You do NOT have a waffle maker which I looked forward to. Also, be prepared that your room is not cleaned for the length of your stay. Towels are provided but you must go to main desk to ask for replacements. The other thing I did not agree with is the charging for parking. If you must charge for parking put it in the daily room rate so it is included. Location very convenient. Also, the……

“Proximity to the beach was ideal. The room had hooks and cubbies for extra beach gear which helped keep things organized with a family. Having access to a larger fridge was also helpful.”

It looked nice and new but then the TV didn’t work, the internet didn’t work, the stove top in the efficiency didn’t work, the hot water in the kitchen didn’t work, the dish washer leaked all over the floor, the free breakfast was missing the first morning except a long line of 25 people getting waffles and the second morning slim pickings with an even longer line for waffles from people making six waffles each and taking literally 25 sausages on one plate.
